My first solo exhibition, organized by the Flying Gallery in 2012, was held in the restaurant U Kucharzy, in Hotel Europejski in Warsaw. This unusual restaurant was located in the former kitchen of the hotel and still had elements which reminded us of it’s past – old, white tiles on the walls and chefs cooking before the guests’ eyes. The exhibition was shown in a mirrored room so my works were multiplied on walls, resembling a kaleidoscope effect. I also created an installation – a terrarium with a tropical beetle, amongs african flowers submerged in milk… I have fond memories of this show because of it’s strange, slightly surrealistic atmosphere…
