The Fljotstunga residency in Iceland was an absolutely amazing experience! Small, wooden houses for artists were scattered on an immense space of a moss covered lava field. I spent the days exploring the surroundings and looking for inspiration. Every time a different extraordinary landscape, waterfall or lava cave appeared. What I experienced, in the evenings I put down on paper. I also spent time on long talks with other residents and artists. On the fourth day, the Northern Lights appeared, they chased me when I was returning at night to my little house…
